Terms of Use
Website Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Magister Operum website, including pages, text, images, downloads, links, contact forms, and related content made available through this website.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website. A dramatic but effective arrangement.
1. Website Owner and Brand
This website is operated by the individual owner/operator of CertM8, operating under the brand name Magister Operum.
Brand: Magister Operum™
Product: CertM8™
Website: https://www.magisteroperum.com
Contact: support@magisteroperum.com
Magister Operum and CertM8 are currently used as brand and product names. They are not presented here as a registered company name or registered trademark. If the project is later operated through a registered company, sole proprietorship, or other legal entity, these Terms may be updated with the relevant legal identity details.
2. Use of the Website
You may use this website for lawful personal, professional, informational, evaluation, and contact purposes.
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit harmful content, abuse the contact form, scan, attack, scrape aggressively, or use the website in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
3. Website Content
The content on this website is provided for general information about Magister Operum, CertM8, related projects, downloads, support, and contact options.
Website content may be changed, corrected, removed, expanded, renamed, or reorganized at any time without notice. No promise is made that all information will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
4. CertM8 Downloads and Software Use
CertM8 downloads, demo versions, trial versions, activated versions, license keys, activation responses, and related software materials are governed by the separate CertM8 End User License Agreement.
By downloading, installing, activating, copying, or using CertM8, you agree to the CertM8 EULA. These website Terms do not replace the CertM8 EULA.
You are responsible for making sure your system, permissions, backups, server access, IIS configuration, certificate stores, and administrative environment are suitable before using CertM8. Software with admin rights is not a toy, despite humanity's ongoing effort to treat it like one.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website content, wording, layout, visual design, product names, brand names, screenshots, graphics, icons, software-related materials, and related project content are owned by the website owner/operator or their respective rights holders.
You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, modify, impersonate, misrepresent, or use Magister Operum, CertM8, related names, branding, visuals, or materials in a way that suggests ownership, sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, resale authorization, or official association without permission.
6. Contact Form and Communications
If you contact the project through the website, email, or support channels, the information you submit may be used to respond to your inquiry, handle support, manage licensing communication, or protect the website against abuse.
Personal data handling is explained separately in the Privacy Notice / KVKK page. KVKK guidance requires informing individuals about matters such as identity of the data controller, processing purposes, transfers, collection method, legal basis, and relevant rights when personal data is collected. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
7. External Links and Third-Party Services
This website may include links to external websites, platforms, payment providers, hosting services, documentation, social profiles, or other third-party resources.
External websites and third-party services are controlled by their own operators. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, terms, fees, policies, or behavior.
8. Support and Availability
The website, downloads, contact channels, and support options may change, become unavailable, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time.
No guaranteed response time, uptime, support availability, update schedule, bug fix, compatibility promise, or continued service is provided unless separately agreed in writing.
9. No Professional Advice
Website content is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, cybersecurity, operational, or professional advice.
You are responsible for making your own decisions and seeking qualified advice where needed, especially for production systems, business use, compliance, tax matters, licensing, security, and certificate operations.
10. No Warranty
This website is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. No warranty is made that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, complete, compatible with every device, or free from harmful components.
The website may contain mistakes, outdated information, broken links, incomplete details, or technical issues. This is not the goal. It is merely the traditional condition of the internet.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages arising from or related to the website, website content, contact form, downloads, links, interruptions, errors, or reliance on information provided through the website.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not allowed by mandatory law.
12. Sales, Payments, and Refunds
These Terms of Use do not currently act as a full sales agreement, refund policy, distance sales contract, or pre-information notice.
If CertM8 or other products are later sold directly through this website or through a third-party platform, additional sales terms, payment terms, refund terms, platform terms, invoice details, consumer disclosures, or distance sales information may apply.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer, refund, cancellation, withdrawal, statutory, or mandatory rights that may apply under applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated when the website, CertM8, licensing model, payment process, contact method, legal structure, brand status, or distribution method changes.
Continued use of the website after updated Terms are published may be treated as acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or this website will be resolved in the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where mandatory law grants another competent venue, authority, consumer arbitration committee, or court.
